ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL STARTS NEXT SUNDAY Geared for adults and older children. 9:15 to 10:30 AM in Queen's Social Hall. Enjoy fellowship, coffee, juice, donuts AND childcare for your young ones while you learn more about your Catholic faith and how to live it. Attend Mass either before or after Sunday School. This week's video presentation will take us on a walk through the Mass. Have you ever said: "I don't get anything out of Mass?" Deacon Bob will facilitate. Give your understanding of the mass a boos this Lent.

For all High School Parish Teens 9th through 12th grade - Sunday, Feb. 22 is the next scheduled meeting for our 4th Sunday program. It will be a road trip to the Museum of Religious Arts in Logan, IA. We'll meet at noon at Queen of Apostles in the Great Hall for lunch. We'll return there by 4:00 p.m. To arrange for permission forms and transportation, teens must sign up by Sat. Feb. 21. St. Patrick Women's Book Club Designed to grow spirituality, foster friendships and build community among the women in our parish. We will read, discuss and share ideas on current spiritual and Catholic literature in small groups, twice a month. The first selection is "Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World", finding spirituality in the busyness of the world. Author, JoAnna Weaver. Since there are 12 groups, many meeting times are available throughout the week. Groups are forming now. Sessions will begin the week of January 11, 2015. Brewing faith for young adults COME CELEBRATE THE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! Guest speaker is Bishop Richard Pates! He will fill our hearts with knowledge and love of the topic of "The Catholic American Citizen Response to Global Conflict." Please join Thursday March 5th from 6:30-8:15 or so at Pizza King for great food, fantastic fellowship, and an amazing spirituality-filled topic. There is childcare for children 2 years and up is available at St. Patrick's during the time of Brewing Faith (6:15-8:30, call the office by noon the day before to let them know you need childcare). The Joy of Forgiveness Retreat will take place on Saturday, February 28 at St. Patrick's Hall 9AM-4:30PM. Sandy Hoenig, a counselor and conflict resolution facilitator with 30 years experience is conducting the re- treat to help individuals get rid of resentments and self-defeating habits. The retreat is about forgiving others and being healed by accepting forgiveness. The retreat is particularly good for those hurt by broken relationships, death, abuse, or depression. An offering of $40 is requested. Lunch is provided. Register by call the parish office at 323-1484.

Looking for a way to grow your faith this New Year? Book Study groups are forming to read and discuss our parish's Christmas giveaway book, Jon Leonetti's "Mission of the Family." Eight groups are available, evening groups will be held Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; daytime groups are Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. There is a perfect group and time slot for you!!
